i got 2 windows installed,one is on hard disk c and the other one on the hard disk d.both are windows xp, but now iam using the one on the hard disk d. the problem is after i installed the windows on the hard disk d, the wireless adapter driver says wireless adapter unplugged when it plugged. i need a solution for this problem.............thnx

The drivers and software you installed for your OS in C drive will not usually work for the OS in D drive. So you will have to install them all over again (at least for most of the stuff).
However, I'm not sure why you would want to have two similar OS installed in the first place. If you wanted to have multiple operating systems, you could consider using MS VirtualPC or VMWare to create virtual machines and install OS of your choice which is a much safer practice.
I have had this problem while dual booting. I would disable the wireless in one OS and it would change the value in the CMOS. Then when I would boot to the other OS it would be disabled and I could not figure out why.
