I don't have a hard line so I can't connect my Xbox 360 to the internet. I would however like to download extra content for my system; patches and updates for my games. Can I download these with my PC and then transfer them to my Xbox? I'm asking about official downloads and content from the Xbox community.

I heard you can do it by burning the updates until a CD/DVD and then putting it into the xbox360 and load it up from there. Ive never done it but found a page on the xbox website will all the information about it.

Edit: I also dont know where you download the updates from for the computer, perhaps google and surfing the xbox website like i did will help you out.
No, you have to download it via the Xbox Live Marketplace on the Xbox 360. If you don't have a hard line, you could try the Wireless Adapter for Xbox 360. Its $100 and attaches to the back of the console and connects via the USB port in the rear. Or you can do what I did, get an ethernet bridge. It consists of 2 units plugged into power outlets (not power strips) near your modem and Xbox 360. You connect the units to your modem and Xbox 360 via ethernet cable. It sends your internet connection through your house power and is essentially a wired connection. Better than wireless because its not affected by distance. It too is about $100. Hope this helps.
if theres patches they will automatically be downloaded at the beggining when you insert the game. One questions Whats the difference between Fifa and PEs?
