22nd birthday ideas in NYC?
My 22nd bday is comimg up in October. I want to do something big but not over the top. The main plan is to rent a limo to take me and my group out to a restaurant (i was thinking jekyll and hyde's) then we come back to the house and party from there. I'm doing it this way because some of the people in my party will still be under 21. I live in New York so the options are vast. Any help you can give would be great. The more fun the better.....Thanks

why don't you celebrate it over a weekend or something ?
like on the friday night ,go clubbing with some of your legal friends and the saturday go out for dinner and then have a get together at your house ( but be careful because if you make to much noise the police will come and if they see underage people drinking you'll get into trouble)
urmm , do you have a pool or something ? that would be fun. just dance and have fun :)
and maybe on the sunday spend it with your family (if you have any in nyc) or your closest friends and have a relaxing day and maybe go see a movie or go shopping and go out for brunch or lunch :)

new york is full of options to do for whatever occasion. to keep you from getting arrested, you should keep things light and elegant if you prefer. taking the limo to a restaurant is a good idea, but the house things if a little iffy. i'm just here to give you suggestions so hear me out! maybe you should go shopping around the ENDLESS places in new york. hollister, american eagle, aeropstale, there are so many places out there! have fun trying on make-up, do anything that you and your friends enjoy. don't go clubbing then your underage friends will be left out. go visit and maybe just go to a park and hang out. go for a carriage ride! do NOT do anything that's illegal or irresponsible; it'll cost you big time. the old traditional cake-with-candles and the hang-out at home and presents works just fine after a big day. happy birthday!
