let X be the number of tickets
Joe sold =X/2 tickets
Jake+Minh = X/2 tickets
for every 3 tickets Jake sold, Minh sold one
so Minh sold 1/4 of (x/2) and Jake sold(3/4) of(X/2)
so Minh sold X/8 , Jake sold 3X/8, and Zoe sold X/2
since Joe' sold tickets = Minh's sold tickets+36
plug in the values,
X/2= X/8 +36
solve for X
X/2-X/8=36
or
(4X/8- X/8)=36
3X/8=36
X=36(8)/3=12*8=96 tickets
96*2= 198 USD
n amount of money
