70's tv actor's name?
he probably acted in other decades as well but i have seen him in the Jefferson's, sandford and son, all in the family, and the flintstones.
he usually played a worker in a store or Business, usually high class. he always, in every different episode said "yeeessss". starting low and getting higher, in kinda snooty way. can anyone help with his name?

- he was a semi regular on the Jack Benny shows as well as being on other tv/radio shows

Good description. I can picture him but I don't know his name. I haven't seen him in a long time. He might be dead by now.
