I wasn't getting any cold air from my central a/c company. My company who I have my service agreement with came out and indicated I need a new system??? My system is in it's 5th year of operation and wasn't not installed by my service company. They did not check warranty information before telling me I needed a new system.
My neighbor is in the business and came over to give me an honest opinion. Turns out my coil has a leak and could be soldered or since it's still under warranty could be replaced.
So, what do you think I should do with the service company who did not offer me these options? Would LOVE to hear your opinions.

I would confront them with your findings and put the ball in their court for an answer.
If the coils on the condensor (the unit outdoors) are leaking in different places, you may properly be extra efficient off changing the great unit. If in undemanding terms a couples of spots are leaking, the unit could be pumped down (free of freon and air,) and braized to repair the leaks. plenty extra fee-efficient to repair the leaks, yet problematical to discover all the leaks in the fins on the unit
