A U-tube contains two fluids with densities ρ1 = 995 kg/m3 and ρ2 = 595 kg/m3 as sketched below. What is the difference d in the heights of the top surfaces of the two fluids?

15cm * ρ1 = x* ρ2
x = 25 cm
Difference in height = 25 cm - 15 cm = 10 cm.
You need more information than that, what volume of each fluid is there? What is the maximum volume of the U-tube? we need the data given on the diagram "sketched" below.
