Adobe photoshop help...?
These days when started using photoshop Cs3 it used to work fine but now sometimes when I open it and load any photo and try to do something with it I just get the hand tool instead of the cursor, so i tried using photoshop Cs4 but the problem remains??? Any help???
Update:No it doesn't allow me to select anything.
Although I'll try what the first answer says but after I get more answers. It would help me decide, thanks though.

Easy fix but it may happen again but the solution is the same.
With a tool other than the Hand tool selected, tap on the spacebar repeatedly until the hand disappears. Probably it will take only 3-4 taps.

Does it allow you to choose other tools, such as the selection or move tool? Open up your tools palette and try switching to a different tool ( windows>tools). You can also choose different tools
If that doesn't work, try resetting your preferences to the defaults. Load up Photoshop, and during the loading screen hold ctrl+shift+alt. It will ask you if you want to delete your settings file. Click yes. Hopefully that will fix your problem.
