simplify the expression.
1. (3+2i)+(5+7i)
2. 2i(3-i) im thinking the answer is (6i-2)?
3. (3+2i)(3-2i) i got 5?
4. (3+i sqrt(5))^2 i got 14?
5. -sqrt(-9) i got plus or minus 3i?
6. (5i)/(6-2i) hint: use the conjugate of the denominator
just so you know, im not cheating... i did these (and many other)problems by myself, but im not convinced that i got these ones right. also, it would be helpful if you would SHOW YOUR WORK so i can see what i did wrong... im trying to learn from this. =] thanks a ton
