2X+6=y
Xsquared +3=y
How to solve this using elimination or substitution??
well, put the value of y (the first equation) in the second one o.o
if y=2x+6
x^2+3=2x+6
o.o now you pass all of it to the left side hell yeah
x^2+3-2x-6=0
x^2-2x-3=0
(x-3 )(x+1)=0
x=3
x=-1
y=2(3)+6
y=12
y=2(-1)+6
y=4
If you didn't understand my lame explanation then I have failed. :D
LOL dafuq did I just write ;-;
make the 2 problems equal to each other because y is = to both answers. Solve for x.
