Hi, I am in 8th grade and I think I know the answer but I just want to check with everyone.
A gym charges $35 per month after an initial membership fee. A member has paid a total of $250 after 6 months. Write an equation that gives the total cost of a gym membership as a function to the length of membership (in months). Find the total cost of a membership after 10 months.
Im just a little unsure of my answer, but just checking if anyone else could guide me more.

250=35x+b when x=6, so Y=35X+40
Well, 35*6=210. 250 minus 210 equals 40. Therefore, your function could be represented as C=40X+40
(C represents cost, X represents months)
