He has a slight accent, typically Spanish but not distracting.
Yes, he has a bit of an accent. Nothing too harsh though, but you can tell it's there. For example, whenever he says a word that ends with a T, the T doesn't get said (listen to 0:33 when he says "what" a lot). His vowels (o's especially) are also a bit more open than English ones are.
It's very subtle, and if you're not a native speaker, you probably don't pick up on it. But it is there. Try to compare it with the interviewer's accent and find the differences! :)
His native language may be Portuguese, but to someone that doesn't speak it, it sounds just like Spanish. The two are closely related, so saying he can't have a Spanish accent because he speaks Portuguese is a little silly.
He definitely does have an accent and I love it. I actually looked up the character after watching Westworld and thinking, I wish I had that accent, what is it? Hence the google search and finding this question. It's not very strong but it's there and it's one of the coolest accents I've ever heard.
What American accessory do you have? Your effect: The Inland North you could think of you talk "usual English at present out of the dictionary" yet once you step faraway from the large Lakes you get asked stressful questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" possibility is you call carbonated liquids "pop." The Northeast The South The Midland Philadelphia North significant The West Boston
yea he has a tiny accent
This isn't something you can tell for yourself? What's your next question, whether someone's shirt in a video is red or orange?
No! you just have to find that one out yourself.
