I recently bought a mazda rx8 r3 and the manual seats are getting old so I was wondering if I could put in power seats from a rx8 grand touring and if I can what work I would need to do
Or is there any way I can install a power seat track on the rx8 r3 seats?
Atualizada:The r3 has leather seats, but they are all manual and I now want power. That is why I'm looking to swap

Hmmm... I thought all R3's can with the leather Recaro seats? Maybe that's just in Canada.
Yes, the seat rails will be the same and the wiring harnesses, too. Seats from another RX8 will be plug-n-play.

If they are from the same year ( or close) car then they should bolt right in. One some cars, the wiring may even already be there, tucked under the seat or carpet. Most cars usually used the same wiring harness and some plugs just weren't used if the car was not equipped with certain options. Take a look once you get the old seats out. You might get lucky.
If not, then you will have to run a power wire from the fuse panel to the new seats and a ground wire to the seat frame bolt or other metal spot in the car.
What pipes???? Clogged cat conv could do this, but if car ran OK before it went to dealer, then I would have to assume that the dealer is responsible. Make absolutely CERTAIN, that the oil you have been using conforms to the EXACT spec's listed in your manual. For the most part, using quicky lube oil is NOT good enough, and may cause severe engine damage. READ YOU MANUAL 4-5 TIMES. Understand the section that lists the qualities of acceptable oils and fluids. Use ONLY Mazda coolant in this thing. It is a VERY special formula. The wrong oil can damage the rotor seals, or prevent them from sealing, causing power loss. Use ONLY "top tier" fuels. (read about this in internet). If you are REALLY lucky, it might just be a clogged fuel filter. Good Luck!!!
