Have you checked at a place like Hobby Lobby?
Several years ago I was going through the same thing and finally found what I needed at Hobby Lobby. Nothing was exactly perfect, so I got a piece that hadn't been painted yet. A ceramic Christmas tree. It was perfect, but it was blank. So, I bought some green acrylic paint, slapped it on there, and then I went over it later with a clear acrylic spray glaze. It was perfect. And easy, too.
It ended up being around $30, tops.
There are many benefits that go along with having an alternative Christmas tree, which makes it easy for people to choose trees to meet their individual needs and desire. You can find supplies for alternative Christmas trees at hobby shops and online at http://www.yourguidetochristmas.com/where-can-i-fi... . Having a variety of alternative Christmas tree options available helps to make the buying process easier. Although some alternative tree options require a higher initial monetary investment than buying many live trees, in time the owner saves money as they are no longer having to buy a new tree each year. Many trees even come outfitted with lights and flocking, which often makes the trees faster and easier to decorate.
eBay.. might have them?
