Here's the prompt that I'm working on:
Choose an issue of importance to you—the issue could be personal, school related, local, political, or international in scope—and write an essay in which you explain the significance of that issue to yourself, your family, your community, or your generation.
I'm writing about how society has declined and how kids these days only care about tv shows and music and fashion and don't really focus on the problems that the world faces
This is how far I've gotten:
It seems as though kids these days take less interest in their studies and focus more on the latest fashion trends or popular TV shows. Many students around the country are unaware of the many dangers and challenges that are spread around the world.
im so stuck! i need guidance because i think that what i've written so far is absolutely awful! PLEASE HELP!!!

Well your introduction is pretty good, now you have to go into detail. And this is where the research parts comes in. You have to look for certain stats. Like how many people watch tv and how much of that demographic is between the ages of 13-19 years old. How much of this demographic look at these specific tv shows. Now if you want maybe you should go and get some quotes from some kids and include those quotes from the kids and get some anti-quotes as well. Anti-quotes are quotes that show a different view than some of the other quotes get two quotes per each viewpoint. Then include more details of the dangers and challenges that you mentioned in your intro. Put some of your personal feelings into it, then wrap it up with an conclusion. I hope that this helps put you in the right direction.
No you can not. For two explanations: 1) you'll now not have had the same experiences to her so what she has written is beside the point to your existence 2) schools determine for plagiarism. If you are caught copying anyone else's work they'll reject your utility right away. It is not distinct for men and women to be caught like this so it is not valued at taking the danger. Most likely use her essay for suggestions and a good guide to comply with but it must now not be precisely the identical. If you are having obstacle possibly you could ask her to give you some suggestions.
Most Kids are not going to be concerned with social issues and politics at their age. The REAL problem is how kids communication have evolved into nonexistence thanks to texting, social media and twitter. This is not a bad thing, it's just the evolution of social communication. Spelling, grammar and writing skills are on the decline because kids r txting like this when b4 they would write out complete sentences and know how to spell. Literacy has been diluted by technology and schools are more interested in testing than teaching. There's your real issue.
