Por exemplo, vê como a estrutura do NYT (New York Times) está definida na Wikipedia:
"It (the NYT) is organized into sections: News, Opinions, Business, Arts, Science, Sports, Style and Features.".
Não conheço o uso do termo "subsection" para definir uma "section" dentro da outra em um "newspaper", continua sendo "section". Ainda na estrutura do NYT, a "section" "Arts" está dentro da "section" "Features".
