Helen keller was born in a small town called Tuscumbria in the United States.Helen brithday was June 2 7,1880, and her parents were Kate Adams Keller and Colonel Arthur keller.when Helen was 19 months old she got extremelly ill and lost her ability to hear and see.

With the help of a private tutor,Ann Sulivan,helen learned to read and to write.

In 1888 Helen left home for the first time.She and Ann went to the Perkins School for the blind.When Helen was 13,Helen and Ann moved to New York City.There Helen attendes the wright Jlumason Scool for the deaf.In 1904, she graduated from Radcliffe College.She was the first deaf-blind person to receive a college degree.

In 1924,Helen joined the american Foundation for the blind (AFB).She Traveled around the United States to get support for programs that help blind people.

Helen wrote hundreds of articles and books.Helen first book `The story of my life´, has been translated into 50 languages.

Helen was a very spiritual woman.She believe that everyone from all racer and cultures deserved the same rights.She died in her sleep in 1968.
