the least of three consecutive integers is divided by 10, the next is divided by 17, the largest is divided by 26, what are the numbers if the sum of the quotient is 10?
Can anyone answer this mathematical problem?

"the least of three consecutive integers is divided by 10"
So its rightmost digit is 0 (because it's a multiply of 10)
Let's say its quotient is 'n'.
"the next is divided by 17"
So its rightmost digit is 1 (because the preceding number is a multiply of 10). What's its quotient? It's "??3" (the question marks can be any digit (or nothing)). Why? Because only 3 times 17 has its rightmost digit equals to 1 (How do we find this out? Ask).
(NOTE: As you'll see, you can solve the question here already. The rest of my answer is not strictly necessary. See note at the end of my answer.)
"the largest is divided by 26"
So its rightmost digit is 2 (because the previous number has its rightmost digit 1). What's its quotient? It's either "??2" or "??7" (I'll explain in more details if asked).
"the sum of the quotient is 10"
So we have the following equation:
n + ??3 + ??2 = 10
or:
n + ??3 + ??7 = 10
Since it equals 10, we can put NOTHING in place of the question marks (because then it will exceed 10). So we end up with the following equations:
n + 3 + 2 = 10
or
n + 3 + 7 = 10
Let's start with the first equation: 'n' has to be 5. So the numbers are:
5*10 = 50
3*17 = 51
2*26 = 52
The numbers are 50, 51, 52.
But we also have "n + 3 + 7 = 10". Perhaps there's another sequence of numbers. 'n' has to be 0. So the numbers here are 0, 51, 182. They aren't consecutive, so we ignore this equation.
(Earlier I wrote that you can solve the question as soon as you discover that the pattern for the middle number's quotient is "??3". That's because quotient 3 is the only one lesser than 10. So it's the only one possible. So the middle number is 3*17=51.)
i do no longer think of you typed the question wisely so i will't remedy it by way of fact that's not smart yet what i will inform you is make the two numbers x and x plus one by way of fact they're 2 consecutive numbers. desire this help and that i'll examine for addisional information as quickly as you upload it and notice if i will remedy it then. desire this facilitates.
x=least
y=medium
z=greatest
x+1=y y+1=z
x/10+y/17+z/26=10
x/10+(x+1)/17+(x+2)/26=10
LCD=2210
I think this is correct and you can solve the rest.
