Make sure your torque-wrench is calibrated or it won't matter how the math comes out. The wrench has those markings on it, so that means you don't have a wrench; do your own homework, I always did.
You multiply by 1.3558 to convert from foot pounds to newton meters.
So, 30 ft*lbs = 30 X 1.3558 = 40.67 N*m
30 ft*lbs = 30 X 1.3558 = 40.67 N*m
I think your units of measurement are wrong...they are not torque
Do you mean 30 lbf-ft into N-m?
If so then it is 40.67 N-m
This is a great conversion program, and I keep it on my desktop.

multiply by 1.3557 to get Nm
40.67
See small selection of web sites
2.2 lbs is a kilo
multiply by 1.36
40.68nm
