Ok. its 2 questions. i was wondering if any DDR3 module would work on any computer that can run DDR3 Ram.? Like if i buy a 4gb ram computer then buy 16gb module. Would i take out the 4gb that comes with the computer then install the 16gb ram??

For the best performance and stability, all of your ram should be the same speed and type and have the same timings. You really don't want to have 1 stick that prefers 9-9-9-27 and another that like 8-8-8-24.
yes you can if your board supports ddr3 and its frequency, its just the process of expanding your memory you can replace as much your board supports.
