not the fire breathing ones no, only lizards with "dragon" in the name.
i saw a documentary once that made a very good point;
it was basically exploring dragon anatomy and seeing if it was at all possible for a fire breathing dragon to exist (they weren't in any way saying they DID exist - just exploring the idea that they could.)
and they found that it wasn't entirely impossible for an animal to breath fire, though it wouldn't be majestic streams of flame you see in the movies. But it was very very unlikely, and would be a hostile existence for the poor lizard.
the main point they made which i thought was very good - A giant lizard with razor-like talons on each finger and toe, with giant batwings, spikes down its back and ferocious jaws... what the hell would it need fire for?? it would already be the most formidable predator around, there'd be no need for fire.
Sure, if you count Komodo dragons, bearded dragons and so on. However, if you mean gigantic, flying, fire-breathing reptiles, they do not exist. Sadly.
Yes. And okay, I have to confess this to you because i feel HORRIBLE about it (i hope you don't mind). So, I was driving this morning in my new SUV and suddenly I see smoke on the side of the road. My first instinct is to slow down but before I do, something collides with my car. I hit a dragon! Omgosh I felt so bad but I couldn't bring myself to look back at it. :( Please forgive me fellow dragon loversss.

There are different kinds of dragons, like water dragons for instance.
But honestly how do you know that something does or doesn't exist if you've never seen one.
They may have long ago, you never know.
Komodo dragons and other non mythical lizards
Yes... but not ones that fly or breathe fire. Real life dragons aren't as cool.
