This is a tradition that my daughter and I started 22 years ago and I'm pretty sure I haven't missed a single year...counting this one!
We take our pictures on Thanksgiving so there will be plenty of time to get them processed and sent out in time for Christmas.
Now my husband and I include whoever will be in it with us...this year we have our 4 and 3 year old grandsons in it! Last year it was them, their mother and us.
I love it.
And so do the people we send them to (at least they claim to!!).
A Christmas card is always nice, but I get especially excited when I have a picture of the sender and their family to look at!!
Well sadly, or fortunately, (depending on how you look at it) I have no family so no need to take a picture. Besides having my picture taken has been known to break cameras (really happened once at the DMV no less). :-)
However, on the bright side of things Christmas shopping is so much easier. ; -)
Plus no family arguments or having to decide which family members to visit and which ones to hide from ; -)
No, only my brother and I take pictures for the Christmas cards. In fact, we're taking pictures today. UGH! I hate it. The photographers make us do disgusting poses.
