I've often "pondered" upon this. There are so many people who commit crimes and do "evil" things just to destroy people and their lives but when they are interviewed about the situations they show absolutely no remorse and seem to feel absolutely nothing. A normal person could NOT have this total disregard for caring in some way...but these people have NO regard for others feelings and some often laugh and joke at the pain they have inflicted on others.

I believe that some people choose to be evil..that they know what they are doing and that they think about it before they make that step into "bad". As far as people being born or "predestined" as evil that would be a mental illness. I think that some mental illnesses do have some "evil" tendencies if they are not properly treated....but that there is not one specifically that is "evil".

Yes, some, well many of the things "evil" people do require mental illness, yes, but nod "bad" things, because everyone does bad things.

The things evil people do like Holocaust require mental illness for anyone to be that sick.

Also, I'm not official, and I don't think you will get real answers in THIS category, try mental health or something.

that depends, are we talking about Hitler evil, or small stuff? in Hitlers case it very well could have been, but like a burglar, well that guy could just be going through a hard time, and he saw it as the only way out. i guess it would depend on life situations and small stuff, like if his/her parents were divorced.
