EPSON R230 "Ink cartridges cannot be recognized"?
The ink light indicator is on. How can I fix it? I know SSC Service Utility is for resetting counter only, and it wont work. I tried using the technical support but the same problem appear. I have replaced all the cartridges with a brand new genuine epson cartridges, and same problem appear.
I'm sure all the cartridges are properly installed.
Please help and thanks in advance
Additional Info: I'm using my printer printing pictures, documents and invitations and doing it for about 2 years. This is the first time I've encountered this problem.

An error message should of not came up after installing the OEM cartridges.It is very rare that, that occurs.You most likely have a damaged machine.You will want to call Epson and let them know of the trouble you are experiencing and DO NOT notify them that you used aftermarket cartridges.They should definitely be able to take care of that for you.Here's their contact information:

We have a WP-4530 & use genuine cartridges, get the "cannot recognize" message, remove inks, turn off printer leave it for a while - have tried turning on without the cartridges and with, still get the message, installed the cartridges one at a time, got to a point where it would recognise 3 out of 4, didn t matter which one you took out it would recognise the other 3. [this is day 2 of the exercise] having put a complete set of inks in, few $ s at stake - threw the toys out of the cot and got rough with it, slamming cartridges in several times and now it recognises them. Big question is do you keep this piece of rubbish and take the risk when the inks run out again or cut your losses and run. Definitely would not recommend Epson reading the other pages of similar issues on variety of printers.
See there might be two problem either the cartridges are problematic or the problem is software problem.You have to check it from the epson service center.
U needed service ur printer with alignment with adjustable.
we recommended please not use Refill Kid or u want use Refill kit use alternative with original ink.
The better recommended u must service every 6months once u not offense any problem.
The great use printer 2 years and change new printer with now cheapest printers.
