Hi, Our teacher gave us an essay and i need help, We are suppose to relate something from this paragraph to our own personal life experience, and give examples.. I do not quite understand "we could conclude that different pies really do cause different experiences" .
-Can somebody help me with some topics i can write about regarding my life (Even though i know you don't know me personally)

Analogous to this some people show decoupling of awareness and emotional experience.. it can be possible for some people to be happy or sad without knowing it.
So, how do we measure it? Is there a ‘happyometer’? No. We have to rely on flawed measures of subjective experience verbally reported. (not measurements of muscle or brain activity). And, have to use statistics, gather and average the reports of large numbers of individuals. If hundreds of people report different degrees of pleasure in eating coconut versus banana cream pie, we could conclude that different pies really do cause different experiences.

Different pies cause different experiences...I would relate that to the people I hang out with and how that affects me in the social status ladder. I mean, if you hang out with gothic people, people will label you like that and your life would be way different than if you hung out with preppy kids and got labeled that way. Different people also influence what you do like sports, things you buy, doing drugs or drinking, etc etc etc. Try that

Alright i dont know if this has anything to do with the paragraph but write about how YOU take life, is your life negative or positive, do YOU think the glass is half full or half empty, and do you THINK negative or positive, and one last one is...do YOU think that thinking negative or positive will make any difference in your life.
