At what level should I put my frequency if I want to set my boost level at 12dB?
Atualizada:I've got a frequency range of 50-600 Hz and a boost level range of 0-12 dB. Which settings will be the best if I want to hear loud bass and have good sound quality?

You set the frequency that you want to boost. 12dB is a ton of boost...not such a great idea.
Boost Frequency
You should set your subwoofer frequency cut off at 80HZ (this is the setting for thx certified), then turn on you system and listen to the desire source and slowly raise the db setting until you are satified with the bass volume.
Low bass is below 100 Hz.
Mid bass 100 to 250 Hz.
Ideally to get overpowering bass you would want to increase the low end of the equalizer up high and gradually taper it of as you approach 250Hz. Of course doing that you get more quantity of bass not more quality. Yo would need to play around with the levels to get it the way you like it.
