Los pronombres I, You, We, They, llevan , en afirmativo, el verbo tal como está en infinitivo., mientras que He, She, It, agregan S o ES.
Ejemplos: I write a story. You watch T V. He dressES jeans. She buyS a book. It drinkS water. We travel by train. They like ice cream.
Negativo: a) Llevan DON ' T adelante del verbo los pronombres I, You, We, They, b) mientras que He, She, It llevan DOESN ' T y el verbo sin el final S o ES.
Ejemplos (según las oraciones anteriores): I DON ' T write a story. You DON ' T watch TV.
He DOESN ' T dress jeans. She DOESN ' T buy a book. It DOESN ' T drink water. We DON ' T travel by train. They DON ' T like ice cream.
INTERROGATIVO: a) Va DO adelante de las oraciones con I, You, We, They, seguida por laa demás palabras en el orden que tienen en la oración afirmativa. b) Va DOES adelante de las oraciones con He, She, It, quitando el final S o ES al verbo.
Ejemplos ( con las oraciones dadas en afirmativo):
DO you write a story? ( si la oración tiene sujeto I, se pregunta con You). DO you watch TV?
