Ok first of all I know this is not the best card, and I do some lite gaming on it, in no way hardcore just sometimes i play some mmos but mostly use it for video streaming.
The graphics card is a EVGA Nvida 9500gt. I want to know why and how to get my fan to start working again. I get temps of 80c+ without even gaming so this is an issue and is probably damaging my card. I was thinking of just buying another 9500gt since i know my Power supply can handle it since it requires 350wat if not i would upgrade but not really in the spending mood.
How can i fix the fan? How much would it cost to replace the fan? If i replace the fan and add a new one what if that one does not power on and its a graphic card problem itself?
Update:Edit: If you guys know a better gpu that requires 350watt minimum also let me know. Cause if it comes to just replacing the whole card i would like a new one that gives even a small upgrade

It is very important that your GPU fan functions, or the GPU will melt down, possibly (but not likely) damaging other things. If the fan has a 4 wire connector, it should be controllable. If just 2 wire, it should be on full time. You can plug the 2 wire into one of the mother board fan connectors and make sure it is not the GPU not driving the fan. But, get it fixed.

But, always check the video card specs first. Some cards will run on a smaller PSU if the PSU is a good quality one, and the ratings are "honest". Many vendors split up the total power (350W) across many voltages, and you should be concerned about the +12V current ratings normally.
Looks like the 2 above me have the major details covered,i'll suggest updating or installing the driver if you haven't already.
