I think my PS3's hard drive is corrupt. I went into recovery mode and went into "Restore System Files", clicked yes and then the screen went blank. I came back 3 hours later and it was still blank and the ps3 was still on. I then left it on over night but the screen was still blank and ps3 was still on. I then went from my hdmi channel to the scart channel to check incase the output had changed went it retsored but no. I then just held down the ps3 off button for roughly 30 seconds and turned it off. What else can I try? Do I HAVE to get a new hard drive? please help

ok I have gone through the steps and clicked on "Restore File System", then it said preparing and then the screen went blank but ps3 still on. It has been like this the past 45mins :/

I have tried both solutions but they didnt work. anything else i could do?
