Molecules don't really have life, I'm wondering what makes cell parts like DNA, Golgi bodies, mRNA move and know where to go?
The cytoskeleton attaches to centromere of chrmosome. Actin and myosin micorfilamnets contract over one another to move dna apart during mitiosis and meiosis. See picture of the spindle here. This is after the nucleus has broken down
They just flounder around aimlessly and hook up at compatible binding points when they bump into each other by chance.
One step at a time.
