It seems like anytime I find a bump or the slightest abnormality anywhere on my body, I freak out, and spend hours on google looking for confirmation that I won't die, or require an amputation. Even after an ultrasound and 2 doctor's I still fretted over a bump on my testicle, shortly after that, I became worried about penile cancer, lymphoma, sarcoma, and others, all due to finding what turned out to be veins, blisters or cysts. Everytime I find a bump now, I become extremely anxious and depressed. Is there anyway to deal with this? I'm only 17, and I hate stressing about fatal, or debilitating illnesses.
Thankyou for any help (:

A therapist can help you overcome this obsession/paranoia.
The simple answer is "Don't."
However that is easier said than done. To make it easier, just substitute that activity with another one. Every time you feel like that, go out and skip rope 5 times.
