how do I delete a program?
Other people use my computer and I came home today and have this personal antivirus that keeps popping up different warnings. If I click it, it wants me to buy it. I tried to delete it and it says I needs permission.

Okay, first you need to go to:
XP: Start Menu> Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs> Right Click on Personal Anti-Virus> Left Click on Uninstall...
Vista: Start Menu> Control Panel> Uninstall a Program> Right Click on Personal Anti-Virus> Left Click on Uninstall...
If this doesn't work, you'll need to run mbam and SAS:

Both are free and a sure way to get rid of the Personal Anti-Virus (which is a Adware Virus)...Remember to update both and run full scans...
Secondly: you should make a guest account and password protect you administrative account...

You got some spyware. Download, install and update Malwarebytes. Then run a full scan in Safe Mode.
