Outlook is an email program that can handle any pop3 account. Yahoo mail now includes pop3. It is up to you if you want to continue to use Yahoo mail at its website or in Outlook. When you click on email links on most websites it takes you to the email program which is Outlook.
There is no easy way to make links in programs such as a photo editor or a right click go to Yahoo mail on the web.
There are ways to get links on websites to go to the Yahoo website.
₪ For Firefox
Go to tools > options > applications. Scroll down to MAILTO and select Yahoo Mail from the dropdown menu.
₪ For Internet Explorer
You must first download Yahoo! Toolbar from http://toolbar.yahoo.com/ and install it. Before the download starts there is an option screen. Be sure to check that you want to make yahoo mail your default email.
NOTE: If you do not want to use the toolbar then just hide it under view>toolbars. I do not know if uninstalling the toolbar removes the email add-on.
If you do not want to do these options then you must just copy the email address from the website and paste it into a new email.
