It depends on the type of printer and the connection to the computer. Generally, you'll have to connect a cable between the printer and the computer, the cable could be either USB, parallel or ethernet (if it's ethernet then it has to be through a switch or a router) then you turn the printer on, put the driver CD that came with it in the CD-ROM and run it. If the driver is already installed and the printer connected then you just have to go to the "Printers and Faxes" section in the start menu and check if the printer you installed is running without problems...Hope this helps...
