Pretty sure you can only use WEP keys.. what kind of router do you have? If it's netgear;
Go to www.routerlogin.net and log into your account (if a username and password was never set, it's "admin" and "password" by default)
Go to wireless settings on the menu on the left side, and under "security options" click on "WEP". Then at the bottom of the page, choose a WEP key you'd like to use and write it down.

You have to search 192.162.01 or similar & look into your router settings,its stated there.
