My whole life ive always kind of shut out pink floyd from my music library because my dad, who has always been like my music mentor, haaates them. But recently ive started listening to them on my own and i discovered that i loooove them. Ive got so much of their music and i want more. But ive tried to turn my dad onto them and he says that he has heard ever pink floyd song and has never liked it. Ive changed his mind on bands before but this one is tough. Ive showed him time, shine on crazy diamond, wish you were here, echoes... Are there any other songs that might convince him to start liking them or should i give up?

It sounds like he has closed his mind to Pink Floyd, and even if he likes something you play for him, he probably won't admit it.
It's his loss; you've done what you could. Move on, and don't worry about it. Hard as it is to believe, there are people that don't like (or refuse to admit they like) Pink Floyd.
I've been hearing Pink Floyd my entire life (my parents love them, as do I), and I'm still floored every time I listen to The Wall. Even the intro song (In the Flesh) just gives me chills, lol. Try some songs off there, I also like the album Animals (Dogs or Pigs). It may just be something you two disagree on. But good luck! :)
Same thing with my mom. Pink Floyd is my favorite band, but my mom hates them. I think you should just give up. If he doesn't like them at all, then there's no point in trying to convince him to like them. I know how you feel though; I always want to talk about music with my mom but we have completely different tastes in music.
Give up; if he doesn't like them there is absolutely no reason why he should.
Pink Floyd has several different eras; perhaps play one he is not familiar with... "Not Now John"?

Comfortably Numb, the live solo is amazing
Maybe get him stoned and then play it while he's mellow?
