How do I re-activate Windows Vista with no product key?
The product key sticker rubbed off the bottom of my laptop and for the last week every time I turn on my laptop the desktop background has turned black and a window pops up asking me to activate Windows Vista. And the bottom right hand corner says "This copy of Windows Vista is not genuine". I also don't have the Windows Starter CD which also has the product key. I tried magic jellybean key finder, although I'm not sure I used it right. Please, someone, help me. Thanks!

There is software the will give you the key that is on there, but the problem is that key is not good. Call Microsoft on the phone and and tell them your problem they may help...
