You don't hit the reset button to reboot. You "restart" it. You should only use the reset button if your tower locks up.
Thats what a reboot is--a restart. If you're talking about taking your computer back to the original way it was right out of the box thats a recovery. Some use a recovery CD while others have a recovery partition on the hard drive.
If you actually want to do a recovery try googling " Doing a recovery on a (insert your brand and model here)"
Bear in mind that you will lose every program, video, pic, tune doc, etc you added since you got your computer so be sure and burn them onto a disc or put them on a storage drive or pen drive before you do the recovery.
Rebooting is Simple. If you want to just go to Start and then to Turn Off Computer. If you want to Totally make it to where the Computer is like New again then you need the Start-Up Disks.
you can open the "start " menu, and find the "turn off the computer " menu, and then there would be a dialog , choose the " restart " is ok! because restart and reboot are the same meaning!
Im not sure fi you are asking the right question. If you are just wanting to reboot the PC, simply hit the reset button. If you are wanting to restore your pc, you should have a restore in your tools. Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Restore
