I've asked a question similar to this but nothing really helped. My associate is a very nice person but she seriously thinks that these 2 groups of girls are stalking her when they aren't. She's getting worse with it day by day. She thinks people look in her face just to stare at her and she thinks people stalk her and dress like her school (Get this...We wear uniforms!). We have a school psychologist but her parents would need to sign for it. I'm not so sure they would. She really needs help because she's going to hurt someone. I tried to confront her about her problem but she got angry. She's even thinking about getting the police involved. I'm one of the very few people that tolerates her paranoia and she really sounds truthful when she says it she can convince anyone if they don't know the truth. I KNOW they aren't doing it. So what can I do? She's not stable and I think she's capable of killing someone and getting someone in serious trouble. HELP PLEASE!?
BTW- She's 15

Does your school have a counselor? My niece and her friends went to the school counselor at their school because they had a friend who said she was running away (and she was making plans to do so) because of her step-father. My niece told me that she didn't care if her friend got mad or not and she and other friends went to the school counselor. The counselor intervened and the plan was stopped. The girl's mother was sympathetic and things were better at home for her after that.
I hope there is someone at your school who can at least intervene. I believe (at least in most states) that the law says the school psychologist cannot TREAT someone without parents' consent. I believe he / she could talk to your friend at least and probably will talk to her family as well.
Good luck.
