I want to print something and see how a whole bunch of images fit on an A4 page. How do I set the canvas size to A4? It only lets me set the dimensions if I know how many pixels by how many pixel, or cm by cm or inch by inch. What do I do? Please help!

Dimensions of your finished product depend on the resolution you choose:
72 dpi (web) = 595 X 842 pixels
300 dpi (print) = 2480 X 3508 pixels (This is "A4" as I know it, i.e. "210mm X 297mm @ 300 dpi")
600 dpi (print) = 4960 X 7016 pixels
A4 is a metric standard.

I don't use fireworks I use Photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver and flash to put my websites together. You really should learn proper HTML and CSS however. creating your site automatically from fireworks is not an industry standard/best practice. Liquid layouts are not my fav. I usually design my sites around 750-800 pxls wide and center it using CSS. If you could post a link i think i could be of more help to you.... Resolution has absolutely NOTHING to do w/ a site being liquid...a liquid site cannot be done w/ fireworks graphics...needs to be coded properly w/ a code editor (like DW).... perhaps it is time to learn HTML and CSS properly so you can understand what you are doing....then you can call yourself a real web designer.
