It depends on what you mean by "turn [your] mac into a PC". The hardware of a Mac is different from an IBM-compatible PC. You can't alter the hardware to make it a PC. But if you want to install Windows on the computer, you can do that with Bootcamp (assuming your Mac has an Intel processor) or you can install Windows to a virtual machine under a VM like VirtualBox or VMware.
You really need to get someone who knows what they're doing to help you because I get the impression you're not technically savvy. Either get a friend who knows what they're doing to help you or maybe call a local computer store and speak to someone. You might also be able to get some help from Apple tech support if you plan to use Bootcamp.
Simply get your hands on a Windows installation disc (Windows 7 or newer), put it in your Mac, boot from the disc, press next until you get to choose between Express and Custom installation, go for custom, then delete all your hard drive partitions until all it says is "unpratitioned space", then click next, and voila, you're installing windows and you can say bye bye to OS X.
You may run into some problems with drivers though, but you'll probably be able to download the ones you need.
Technically, no you can't. OS X's End User Licence Agreement (EULA), only allows installation on computers manufactured by Apple.
But, you can easily install Windows on your Mac, using the free BootCamp method. And, when done, you can choose to run OS X, or Windows, during Power-up.
TIP: If you instal Oracle's free Virtual Box, you can install Windows inside it, and it runs Windows as an Application within OS X. And, after trying both, I like the Virtual Box method better.
You will have mucho problems trying to turn your mac into a pc- but you can add or install Linux Mint 17 into it so that you can either run a dual boot system or an entire Linux unit.
Mac is made up of Linux based system with their own special mods.
Apart from Boot Camp you can free try Parallels for Mac which is a virtual software that runs Windows OS without booting into. its great you should check out.
Search up how to install "Windows on a mac with boot camp" on youtube, there are plenty of tutorials for it. Keep in mind that you'll need to either buy a Windows installation disc, or download it online (technically illegal, but whatever)
@hudson... it is not "technically illegal" to download a windows disc.. if that were true, then microsoft wouldn't put windows 7 on their digital river servers..
