To create a "sub-account", you actually have to go to the Yahoo! Mail page, regardless of whether you're using the original Yahoo! Mail or Yahoo! Mail Beta.
There is an "Accounts" section under Options. To save you some time, here is the link:
There, near the bottom of the page, there will be a description on how you can create the "sub-account". It's actually very simple - all you really need to do is choose an e-mail address for the secondary account.
You can send messages from either account, just choose which one you'll be using to send the message. Messages from both addresses will be received in the same account. Finally, you can log in to Yahoo! services with either account as the Yahoo! ID.
Another option would be to create a new profile. Click on "My Account" on any Yahoo! page, and there should be a link where you can edit your profiles. Create a new one, and you can log in using that as your Yahoo! ID.
If you really wish to abandon your current Yahoo! account, you can create a new account, but beware that participating on Yahoo! Answers using multiple identities is against the Community Guidelines.
You need to go to the home website of your ISP (Internet Service Provider). Most of them allow you to add new email addresses (up to 5 or 6). Usually it is under 'Manage Your Account' or something like that.

As of April 2014, Yahoo! now can provide disposable digital mail address to all subscribers ("ideas" menu on Yahoo! Mail complete website). sadly, in case you want to get proper of entry to and use disposable digital mail addresses from a cellular gadget, you may't attempt this through both Yahoo's "cellular" website or iOS app on an iPad, and Yahoo! can provide no means to get proper of entry to their "complete website" from an iPad's Safari browser.
