Aftergetting an associates of science university transfer degree from a Community College with a 3.96 GPA, research the highest paying BS degree then apply to the department at the best instate University you can find - get the degree - begin work and let the employer pay for any further education. That is how I succeeded and it has worked out well for me.
1. Personality/what makes me happy: I am naturally a social person; therefore, I want a job where I can interact with people.
2. How well the job pays: I want a job that suits my personality yet pays well at the same time. I would rather be a little happy in my job and have a solid paycheck than worry about bills every month.
3. Future investment: What type of people/occupations will be needed in the future? I want to be a Dentist because teeth will ALWAYS need to be worked on.
I know right. You just have to find something that you really enjoy doing and are comfortable sinking thousands of dollars into when you go to college to major in it.

I do a few things when choosing a career:
Good luck!

Money. The more money you make the less time you have to work the sooner you can retire and then do whatever the hell you want.
