(X1,Y1) and (X2,Y2) I'm really lost and don't understand how to do this. If someone could explain how to do this problem that would be great!!! p.s. It's due tomorrow, so PLEASE answer!!!
Update:The problem is finding the length of the slope!

that is not a problem, what that is:
when you have two pairs of coordinates, for example (5,2) and (3,1)
In your first set, 5 is your X1.....and 2 is your Y1
as for the other set, 3 is your X2 and 1 is your Y2
not if your tryin to find the slope of a line by using those two points, then you use the formula:
X2 - X1
______ = m(a.k.a. slope)
Y2 - Y1
Y2-Y1 divided by X2-X1 is the formula for finding the slope of a line
are you taking about point slope or finding the slope?
to find the slope from two points, find the difference from the y's and / by the that of the x's.
but make sure your subtraction is parallel (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) or (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
Kay is right the formula would look like this: y2-y2
X2-x1 = slope
im learning the same stuff right now
if its multiplication between the parenthesis and the commas then it's
x1.x2=x2squared times
y1.y2=y2squared = x2`2*y2`2
`=exponent
*=multiplication
lol sry cant help lost on this
I need these solved because im packed with a lot of Homework so im not going to have time to do it i have like 40 of them but im done with 25 of them just need these 15 done

I really don't see where the question is. It seems like you just listed two different points.
