I'm trying to drill my shed into its concrete slab but its taking forever. I already broke one drill bit (supposedly exactly for concrete according to the hardware guy). And I didn't even get to drill one hole long enough for the screws I'm gonna use. It took me 1/2 hr to get nowhere. Any tips? Also, the drill I'm using has a power cord. Not battery powered.

A more powerful tool than a hammer drill is a roto hammer. This is designed to drill holes in concrete in a commercial setting. A hammer drill is a drill with an impact movement and will work you to the extreme a roto hammer will do more work with less effort. Rentals are in the local area and quite common.
Yes it looks like you need a high powered hammer drill with a masonry bit i recommend a sds bit to fit a sds hammer drill but mind you youll need the right sds bit to fit the size of the fixings you need if your going to use the drill one off you might aswell hire one from your local hiring shop or if you got travis perkins or jewsons near by you could hire one from there good luck mate.
you need to use a hammer drill, rent one at home depot or somewhere. there are also special drill bits for drilling concrete
Jim is right, the roto-hammer is the tool you want. Will make quick work of it.
