-4(2x+1)+3x= -2(2x+7)

1. First you distribute the 4.

-4 times 2X= -8X

3. Now you write it out: -5X-4=-4X-14

4. Next get the like terms on the same side. add 5x to both sides which results to: -4= X-14

5. After you add 14 to both sides: so its becomes
