i know about the little clip and when trying to use it it snapped off i know thats not a big deal but not the left side of the card (the side closest the edge of the computer in this case) has come up but the right side will not so the left half is out the right half is in and i cant for the life of me get the right side out.... do i just yank it really hard or what? im afriad to put alot of force behind it to get it out at risk of breaking the card

Hi,
I would recommend gently easing the card back down a bit then try removing it by rocking it upwards at either end at a time, try and keep it reasonably level and not put to much force on one end.
If the clip is undone then it should gradually come out.

hi josh, shut your computer off then unplug it from the wall socket then push in the button that turns your computer on for thirty seconds to drain all of the remaining power out of your computer. now when this is completed find the video card some has a screw while others has a clip so remove the screw or clip and then be very careful because this is your chipset. some has a long clip in the front of your video card so while gently lifting the video card out of the pci slot push out on the clip andgently from side to side remove the old video card. now place the new video card over the pci slot and place it into the pci slot and gently put it into place lining the back of the video card in place with the screw or clip put the screw or clip into place and with screw screw it into place but with a clip place your finger on the clip and gently apply a little presure till it is in place. good luck i hope i was helpful to you
