What it is is a car with an engine that has be abused and neglected. $80.00 bucks is a cheap price. But plan on shelling out plenty, PLENTY, for repairs. Every week or possibly every third day will be a different repair. If you're a mechanic, maybe it'd be a good idea. If you're not a mechanic, don't do it. After a year, you'll see that the money layed out in repairs could have paid for a decent vehicle in the first place.
I Guess Nobody Gets The Point That You Just Drove The Chevy 50 Miles With NO OIL In It Which Means You Messed Up The Motor Already So Plan On Getting A New One Of Them. The Only Way That The Chevy Is Worth 80 Dollars Is If It Looks Good Straight Body Has All Paper Work And A Mechanic For Its Next Owner That Has Lots Of Free Time And Money Or Knows Where To Get Cheap Cheap Parts For It Sorry Running Any Vehicle With No Oil In It Is Like Driving It To Its Grave ..... Good Luck
Batteries only last 4 years on average. The car costs 80 bucks, the same price as a new battery.
Go for it!! unless $80 is a large amount of money for you. You can always sell to a junk yard for at least that much money. You may be in for some problems with the vehicle but those chevy blazers are tough and can handle lots of abuse. Good luck.
If it has good tires, that's worth $80.
You probably have a bad battery. Try to use different battery from another vehicle before you spend any on a new one. If it works, and the vehicle is pretty safe to drive, I honestly don't see why you shouldn't buy it from him.
i would,nt give 80 cents for it. if he was going to junk it then that,s what it is, junk but if you did buy it don,t put a lot of money in it. you could always buy it then sell parts off of it and make yourself some money. if it has 4 good tires then they are worth more the 80 bucks.
The vehicle has not been maintained. He was planning on scrapping it for a reason. Buy a better one & use your buddy's for parts. Your buddy's is going to nickle & dime you to death.
