How do you repair a damaged/ missing audio driver?
On my computer every time i open a program that requires sound it just quits and says you don't have the required audio drivers. Then i check the volume control and it says you dont have the required audio mixer. Then i try to update my drivers but it says no audio driver found. My sound worked perfectly before but it all of a sudden stopped. Please help!

Try spotting your audio drivers in device manager. If you find them on the list, right-click on it and select delete. Restart your computer. When it boots up, it should automatically detect your sound device and try installing drivers for it. If that fails, then install your drivers manually from a CD or even better an online download.
Try a system Restore if you are using Windows XP or
downlaod the updated drivers from Manf website and install them....this should work... tast option is if you have a PCI audio card...in your desktop, remove it and put it back when the computer is Off
delete old driver and simply re-install ... all should work fine
