How do you transfer high schools?
I'm a freshman and I just started public high school, and I really don't like it. The school has around 4,000+ kids and the teacher to student ratio is around 20:1. There is very bad influences at my school like drugs, alcohol, smoking, etc. And the school is HUGE. I really really really want to go to a small private catholic school. The one I want to go to has around 1,000 kids, and the teacher to student ration is 13:1. Plus there would be more positive influences. What should I do?

either way drugs and drinking are problems in EVERY high school
There are drugs and alcohol in every school. So get it out of your head that catholic schools are better. The kids that go to private schools usually have the money to buy the drugs because there parents are well off (the parents can afford private schooling). My school has 2,000 kids and I'm ok.
Don't hang round people like that do bad things and you shouldn't have a problem.
